Position Summary
The Eureka Springs Community Center Grants and Donor Engagement Administrator reports
directly to the Foundation Board and is responsible for working with the Board to ensure the
long-term sustainability of the organization through grants and donor programs.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Grants:
- Research grants including previously received and new opportunities
- Develop and maintain an annual grant calendar.
- Serve as primary author on grants.
- Serve as administrator of grants received when necessary.
- Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with possible funders.
Donor Development:
- Attends Donor Development Committee to assist in maintaining and cultivating
current donor programs (i.e. annual report, end of year letter, corporate
sponsorship) and to help develop and implement new donor programs.
- Develop and implement a prospect program used to identify possible new donors.
- Administers and maintains the DonorPerfect donor management system, ensuring
accurate and up-to-date information while integrating donor, membership and
engagement data across Wild Apricot membership database.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing and possible donors.
- Attend Fundraising Committee meetings on an as needed basis to assist with donor leads for larger fundraising events.
Prepare monthly report for the ESCC Foundation Board and attend monthly board
meetings upon request.
Represents the Eureka Springs Community Center at events and functions
Perform other duties as assigned by the ESCC Foundation Board
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
▪ Previous experience in non-profit fundraising and grant writing preferred
▪ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, various social media platforms and
other technologies
▪ Demonstrated ability to use various interpersonal styles and communication methods,
when working with grant and donor prospects
▪ Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to
ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
▪ Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
▪ High energy, independent/self-starter and able to make decisions independently

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
