Full Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role assisting with advanced cardiac procedures as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled imaging professional ready to work alongside an expert clinical team delivering patient-centered cardiovascular care. Your expertise will support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment in the catheterization laboratory
Assist physicians with angiograms, stent placements, and other cardiac cath lab procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies, ensuring optimal safety throughout procedures
Maintain sterile technique and strict adherence to infection control protocols
Document procedures, findings, and utilize hospital clinical systems accurately
Support setup and cleanup of the lab, ensuring all equipment is ready and properly maintained
Adhere to regulatory standards and department policies at all times

Desired Qualifications:

Current licensure/certification as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or ARRT preferred)
Proven experience in imaging and cath lab environments
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, vascular access, and interventional tools
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly within a multidisciplinary team
Skills in maintaining composure and efficiency in urgent, high-stakes situations
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care
