Full Job Description

Job Title: AOI Operator
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11 pm. *Must be able to train on 1st shift (M-F, 6 am - 2:30
pm) for the first week
Pay: $20/hour

North America headquarters in Southlake, Texas serves a critical role in supporting regional customers and coordinating with global operations.

Position Overview
The AOI Operator is responsible for ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer requirements, IPC-A-610 standards, internal Bills of Material (BOM), and quality requirements. This position supports the organization's commitment to quality by working within
the established Quality Management (QM) System to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The role contributes to achieving both general and company-specific
quality objectives while supporting growth goals through consistent application of quality standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

List Operate AOI equipment and visually inspect using a microscope
Inspect assemblies to IPC-A-610 requirements
Verify component marking, values and orientations
Identify defects and record defects in data collection system
Confirm inspection steps in SAP
Solve problems and suggest improvements to Quality Control Supervisor, Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and other work teams
Support production
Run Excel programs to verify AOI program-to-build build of materials
Cleaning and organizing area, as needed, including 5S activities
Maintain material traceability as required
Maintain requested data/metrics, as requested, for Lean and Continuous Improvement activities
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Ability to work well as a team member
Ability to use basic measurement tools (e.g. calipers) and a microscope at 10X
Able to interpret component manufacturer's data sheets in regard to package design, part and lot numbers, correct orientation, or other technical data as required
Able to navigate SAP to perform confirmation and BOM validation activities
Able to navigate, enter defects and pass acceptable boards in data collection system
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and Work Instructions
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to use a computer navigating the internet, and creating and using Microsoft Excel, Word and email
Able to sit and work at a computer and microscope for the 8-hour shift
