We understand that completing everyday tasks can become challenging as one ages, and our licensed and trained caregivers are available to assist those with limitations, including seniors and individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson's disease. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized support with compassion, communication, and collaboration.

Role Overview:

As a Part Time Weekend Caregiver at Assisting Hands of Preston Hollow, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and companionship to seniors and adults in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to support clients in achieving their daily living activities and enhancing their overall well-being. This position is on-site only, and you will work primarily on weekends, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in our clients' lives while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions to the care team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Compassionate and patient, with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to clients’ changing needs.
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes.

Bonus If You:

Have training or certification related to caregiving or personal care.
Are bilingual or multilingual, enhancing communication with clients and families.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position available on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Dallas, Texas, serving clients in the surrounding areas.
