About the Role

The Family Support & Program Director plays a key role in supporting enrolled families and ensuring a positive, encouraging program experience during afternoon and evening hours.

This role centers on relationship-building, family support, and helping families feel confident and clear as they move through the program.

You will serve as a steady, relational, and engaging presence—someone who not only supports families emotionally, but also helps them stay connected to the progress and results they’re working toward.

Our program is a private-pay service, and families are highly invested in both the process and outcomes.

This Role Is Not For Everyone

This is not a traditional education, counseling, or social work position.

We are not focused on managing symptoms or relying primarily on coping strategies. Instead, we focus on helping families address underlying root causes and create meaningful, lasting change.

If you prefer a slower-paced, purely support-based role or are most comfortable working within traditional systems and approaches, this may not be the right fit.

Key ResponsibilitiesFamily Support & Relationship Building

Serve as a consistent, welcoming point of contact for enrolled families
Build trust quickly and create strong, positive relationships with parents
Check in with families regularly and provide encouragement and reassurance
Help families feel confident and clear throughout their program experience
Support families through transitions, questions, or moments of uncertainty

Student & Program Support

Be present during program hours to support students emotionally and relationally
Help create a positive, encouraging, and structured environment
Support Program Coaches in maintaining focus, engagement, and flow
Reinforce expectations with consistency, encouragement, and care

Team Collaboration

Work closely with Program Coaches and Directors to support families
Communicate observations or concerns appropriately to leadership
Model Brain Balance’s mission and core values in daily interactions
Contribute to a team culture centered on professionalism, positivity, and consistency

Organization & Follow-Through

Document important family communication when needed
Help ensure smooth flow during busy program hours
Support overall program consistency and quality
