Full Job Description

Staff Up is hiring for CNC Operators with set up and programming experience to help build our growing company in Cedar Hill, TX 75104!

Shift: Mon–Sat | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (6 days a week)
Pay: $16.00 – $30.00/hr (Based on experience)

Role Overview:
specializes in 100% custom parts with no mass production. Because every job is unique, you must be extremely fluent in programming to keep up with one-off custom designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC vertical and horizontal mills and CNC/manual lathes from print to finished part.
Develop custom setups including fixturing, work holding, tooling, and offsets for short‑run, prototype, and non‑repeat jobs.
Interpret blueprints and CAD models; apply correct speeds, feeds, toolpaths, and cutting strategies based on material and geometry.
Hold tight tolerances and surface finish requirements; perform first‑article and in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and basic gaging.
Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs at the machine, and optimize cycle time and tool life.
Deburr, finish, and inspect parts to print requirements.
Collaborate directly with engineering and design teams on part manufacturability and process improvements.

Requirements:

Strong CNC programming capability with hands‑on setup and machining experience, ideally in a custom or job‑shop environment.
