EEG Technician

Medical City Arlington

Shift: Full-Time, Evenings (7-10 hr. shifts) with rotating weekends

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all diagnostic procedures as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient. Performs additions tasks and activities as assigned. Ensures that policies and procedures are adhered to. Attends departmental meetings and mandatory hospital education in-services.

Performs all test procedures as ordered by the physician.
Communicates with the physician as needed regarding the test procedures done on his patients.
Maintains patient records and log books, charges for procedures done, correlates patient charge reports.
Files all test reports.
Assists the department director by maintaining proper PI documentation.
Enters work orders into Meditech for equipment that is not working.
Assists in the orientation of new employees.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
