The Facilities Planner III supports the execution and governance of facility operations activities across a client portfolio. The role helps ensure that operational records, maintenance data, performance reporting, and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and aligned with account requirements, Buyer objectives, critical performance indicators (CPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs).
This is an account-level operations support position focused on portfolio consistency, information quality, performance visibility, and continuous improvement. The role works with account leadership, Critical Facilities Managers, site teams, and support functions to identify gaps, standardize processes, track commitments, and improve the effectiveness of facility operations. The position does not perform site-level work assignment, technician dispatch, or development of the detailed maintenance schedule.

The Facilities Planner III/Analyst helps translate operational requirements into effective processes, accurate records, actionable reporting, and improvement plans that support safe execution, asset reliability, contract compliance, and achievement of CPI and SLA commitments.
Salary Range
$106,400 - $197,600 Annually

Support account leadership and site teams in the execution of facility operations programs, standards, and contractual requirements across the portfolio.
- Maintain and improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of facility operations records, maintenance data, asset information, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor operational performance against Buyer objectives, CPIs, SLAs, and internal account metrics; identify trends, exceptions, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Prepare and maintain recurring operational reports, scorecards, dashboards, and supporting analysis for account reviews and client performance discussions.
- Coordinate follow-up on operational action items, deficiencies, audit findings, overdue activities, and improvement initiatives through documented closure.
- Support governance of preventive and corrective maintenance programs by reviewing account-level data for compliance, backlog, aging, completion quality, and recurring issues.
- Partner with Critical Facilities Managers, Critical Environment Directors/Engineers, and site planning/scheduling resources to improve work management practices without directing individual technician assignments or building site maintenance schedules.
- Support development, standardization, and continuous improvement of account-level operating processes, workflows, templates, records, and reporting methods.
- Assist with maintenance strategy, asset lifecycle, risk, and reliability initiatives by organizing data, tracking recommendations, and supporting portfolio-level analysis.
- Coordinate collection and validation of information required for client reviews, internal audits, compliance activities, operational readiness, and management reporting.
- Analyze work order, asset, maintenance, and performance data to identify recurring failures, process gaps, workload trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Support change control, shutdown, commissioning, and major maintenance activities at the account level by tracking required documentation, milestones, dependencies, and completion status.
- Work with account leadership, engineering, supply chain, finance, technology, and other support functions to resolve operational data or process issues and improve service delivery.
- Maintain historical performance information and account records to support trend analysis, benchmarking, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
- Promote consistent use of approved systems, processes, and documentation standards across the portfolio and help identify training or process-adherence gaps.
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business, operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance management, planning, data analysis, or performance management; mission critical or data center experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of CMMS/work management systems and maintenance records, including preventive and corrective maintenance data.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and reporting or dashboard tools; experience analyzing operational performance data.
- Ability to interpret service requirements, CPIs, SLAs, procedures, and operational data and convert them into clear actions and reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and functions, manage competing priorities, and follow issues through closure.
