Full Job Description

Job Summary

Our Bookkeeping company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our bookkeeping team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations for clients in our bookkeeping company , including general accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, sales tax ,bank and CC account reconciliations, Heavy AP and AR for clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong QB Online software knowledge, exceptional attention to detail. This is a 30 to 35 hour position with a flexible schedule within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). This can be part time to go full time or start fulltime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Accounting

Maintain and , including preparing and posting journal entries.

Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements

analyze accounting data to produce financial reports for clients

Sales tax filing for many clients

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for our clients

Create invoicing for clients, emailing their customers on behalf of client

Posting payments in books

Banking and Reconciliation

Maintain and update bank accounts.

Reconcile credit card statements

Payroll

Process payroll for clients on a biweekly or weekly basis

Taxes are filed by payroll company , you are responsible for calculating and processing payroll

Software & Systems

Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop using bank feeds and understanding downloading the data from banks into the software, working with rules and feed.

Asana project management to manage work load and details

Maintain spreadsheets and financial records in Excel when needed

Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability work fast and in fast pace environment

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and communication

Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
