Full Job Description

Overview

Seven Whales Supply Chain (USA) Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and analytical Global Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to support international procurement, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and cross-border distribution operations. This role is responsible for coordinating global logistics activities, maintaining accurate operational documentation, collaborating with international suppliers and logistics partners, and ensuring efficient supply chain execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about international logistics and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end domestic and international supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
Communicate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean carriers, air freight providers, trucking companies, and warehouse operators to ensure timely shipments
Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance activities, inventory availability, and transportation schedules
Prepare and maintain commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, customs documentation, shipping instructions, and inventory reports
Support demand planning, procurement scheduling, inventory forecasting, replenishment, and stock optimization initiatives
Maintain accurate operational data within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Analyze logistics costs, freight performance, inventory trends, carrier performance, and operational KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Coordinate supplier onboarding, vendor performance reviews, and logistics service provider relationships
Resolve shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, customs issues, freight claims, and transportation exceptions
Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations, Incoterms®, customs requirements, and international trade best practices

Requirements

Previous experience in international logistics, supply chain management, freight forwarding, procurement, transportation, warehouse operations, or inventory management preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with international suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar enterprise software
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and global logistics platforms
Knowledge of import/export documentation, customs compliance, HTS classification, Incoterms®, and international shipping procedures
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel reporting and analytics
APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD), Certified Export Specialist (CES), or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) certification is considered an advantage
