Job Overview:

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide front line and high-quality phone and front desk support for our concierge patients. The Front Desk Receptionist will play a key role in ensuring that our patients are treated responsively, respect and patience, while providing excellent customer service and administrative support for our concierge practice.

Responsibilities:

Responding to calls and other inquiries from prospective patients.
Completing the intake process for new patients including communicating by phone with patients regarding scheduling appointments for various office visits, nursing visits and annual physical exams.
Provide reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
Answering patient phone calls in a timely manner, collecting information to direct to appropriate staff.
Conducting various administrative tasks including scanning, emailing, and faxing.
Checking in and checking out patients to include collection of payments.
Maintaining current credentialing with local hospital and state medical licensure.
Providing other key areas of support to our team.

Experience:

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role with at least two references, with at least one being of a supervisory capacity.
At least two years' work experience.
Previous experience with an electronic medical records system is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in a medical office setting is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience determining whom to direct phone calls and inquiries.
Experience juggling a variety of tasks patiently and calmly.
Flexibility and adaptability in working with patients, nurses, physicians and other team members.
