Perinatal Sonographer Full-Time/ Part-Time

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates of Maryland is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to join our passionate and dedicated team. The available position is for full-time, however we are willing to consider part-time candidates as well. We are seeking someone who will serve as a fundamental part of our growing, perinatology practice.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Ability to perform 2D, 3D/4D imaging, spectral Doppler and color Doppler.

- Assisting physicians in performance of related examinations such as CVS, amniocentesis, etc.

- Recording images using proper identification information and giving results of sonography to physician for interpretation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited medical diagnostic sonography program

- Current ARDMS certification in OB/GYN

- Current BLS certification

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Experience and understanding of computers and software applications

- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- First Trimester screening NT/NB certification (preferred not required)

- Fetal Echocardiography certification (preferred not required)

Compensation for this position is based on experience.
