We are currently hiring for a full time Ophthalmology Technician within the Outpatient Clinics department here at Aspen Valley Health.
Work Shift:
Days - 8 Hour
Compensation Range:
$26.81 - $42.90

Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
- Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology - Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
The Ophthalmic Technician provides clinical care in collaboration with other clinic staff and assists with administrative duties, as needed, under the direction of the leadership and providers. Accountable for the coordination of clinical care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
