Job Overview

Erik Fagerland & Associates, Inc. (EFA) is hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Construction Administrative Assistant. EFA is a design/build firm complete with an architect, designers, skilled builders, and a devoted support staff. We have over 30 years of experience building custom homes and commercial projects ranging in scope and size.

Duties

Manage daily bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliation using Quickbooks Desktop.
Process multi-state (WA and OR) payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and payroll regulations using Quickbooks Desktop Payroll.
Oversee accounts payable and reconcile supplier accounts.
Maintain subcontractor W9's and Certificates of Insurance.
Create pay applications that include an invoice, updated project budgets, project schedule, and supporting documentation.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and Profit & Loss Statement.
File monthly excise taxes and quarterly payroll taxes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and Payroll.
Experience with payroll processing, tax filings, and account reconciliation.
Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation with precision.
Intermediate skills in Excel, Adobe, and Microsoft suite.
Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, general ledger accounting, account analysis, and budgeting processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
