Full Job Description

Organization: Creative Alternative for Learning and Living (CALL)

Overview:
CALL is seeking a dedicated and experienced ARF Administrator to oversee the operations of our Adult Residential Facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations, as well as CALL’s standards of excellence. The Administrator will provide strong leadership for staff, support residents’ health and well-being, and ensure the home operates smoothly, safely, and in alignment with our mission.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Uphold the rights, dignity, and independence of all residents.
Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including direct supports, staffing, and program implementation.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed.
Ensure compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations and maintain readiness for licensing inspections.
Develop and implement person-centered Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and ensure timely quarterly reviews.
Coordinate residents’ healthcare, including scheduling and attending medical appointments when necessary.
Conduct staff meetings, in-services, and trainings to ensure consistent quality of care.
Maintain accurate resident records, incident reports, and documentation per regulatory and organizational standards.
Monitor facility performance, safety standards, and infection control procedures; correct deficiencies promptly.
Manage residents’ Personal and Incidental (P&I) accounts, ensuring accurate tracking and balances.
Support staff on-call as needed, including covering shifts or finding replacements.
Collaborate with the Executive Director on staffing, disciplinary actions, and administrative decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

At least 21 years old
BA degree or equivalent experience in human service field
Current ARF Administrator Certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
Minimum 2 years of management experience in an ARF or related human services field.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage staff performance and promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
Good physical health; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid California driver’s license, clean DMV record, and proof of insurance.
Ability to handle crises and emergencies with sound judgment and professionalism.
Experience with behavior management programs, with emphasis on non-aversive strategies.
