Position Overview
The Business Services Manager provides hands-on support for the digital systems, information,
purchasing processes, and shared workflows that keep InFocus teams operating efficiently. Reporting to
the Director of Business Operations, this role translates company priorities into organized, reliable day-to day execution across a growing multi-location platform.
This is a centralized support role rather than a field or practice-management position. The Business
Services Manager works across departments and locations to maintain shared resources, coordinate
requests, improve data quality, and keep administrative work moving. The Director of Business Operations
establishes strategy, standards, priorities, and overall direction; the Business Services Manager owns
tactical administration, coordination, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Systems & SharePoint Support
- Build, organize, and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, forms, permissions, and shared
resources under established governance standards.
- Provide practical support for Microsoft 365 tools and other approved operational platforms, escalating
infrastructure, security, access, or advanced technical issues to IT.
- Maintain user-facing resources so information is current, intuitive, searchable, and easy for practice and
support teams to use.
- Assist with testing, implementation, adoption, and ongoing administration of digital workflows and
operational tools.
Operational Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate master data for locations, vendors, supplies, users, business resources, and other shared
records.
- Perform routine data validation, reconciliation, cleanup, and version control across shared trackers and
systems.
- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, summaries, and status updates for Business Operations and other
functional leaders.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistent definitions, and recurring reporting issues, then coordinate corrective action
with the appropriate owners.
Procurement & Supply Coordination
- Administer centralized supply-ordering processes and help practices obtain approved products through
preferred vendors.
BUSINESS SERVICES
InFocus Eyecare
- Monitor order status, backorders, pricing, service concerns, and recurring purchasing needs; follow through
with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain approved-product lists, ordering instructions, vendor contacts, and purchasing records.
- Support cost-control and standardization initiatives by identifying duplicate items, inconsistent purchasing,
and consolidation opportunities.
Centralized Support & Request Coordination
- Monitor and triage centralized support tickets, confirm ownership, communicate status, and ensure requests
continue progressing toward resolution.
- Coordinate routine requests across practices, support departments, and approved vendors using
established workflows and escalation paths.
- Maintain clear records of requests, decisions, approvals, status updates, and completion documentation.
- Track recurring questions, delays, and request trends, elevating risks and process-improvement
opportunities to the Director of Business Operations.
Documentation & Process Support
- Publish and maintain SOPs, job aids, forms, templates, and other operational documentation.
- Support the conversion of manual or inconsistent processes into standardized digital workflows.
- Coordinate document reviews and updates so materials remain accurate, appropriately approved, and easy
to locate.
- Support new-practice integrations and enterprise initiatives through data collection, system setup, resource
organization, and task follow-through.
Working Relationships
The Business Services Manager partners closely with Practice Operations, Information Technology,
Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Human Resources, Marketing, integration teams, practice
managers, and external vendors. The role provides centralized coordination and technical-administrative
support while respecting functional ownership and established escalation paths.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in operations support, field operations, digital operations, business
systems, procurement, administrative services, or a related function.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Forms; experience
building SharePoint resources or digital workflows strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate data, manage multiple workstreams, and follow tasks through to
completion.
- Experience coordinating purchasing, vendors, shared services, or centralized support requests preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-location healthcare, retail, or service-based organizations preferred.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, discretion, and a service-oriented approach.
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly, troubleshoot routine issues, document solutions, and recognize when
technical or operational escalation is required.

- The Director of Business Operations has dependable tactical support to advance strategic priorities and
scalable processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
