Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detailed Office Administrative Assistant to join our team. This paid position offers long-term employment to grow with our organization over the coming years. Hours are Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm.

We specialize in 4 main types of work. We manufacture custom toilet partitions in a variety of thicknesses, materials and colors. We laminate panels in a variety of thicknesses, cores, finishes and colors. We manufacture custom closet components in a variety of colors and finishes and manufacture custom cabinet components in a variety of thicknesses, cores, colors and finishes.

Duties

Create drawings for partitions based on architectural and hand drawn floor plans.
Perform data entry tasks in Excel spreadsheets for laminated panels.
Perform data entry tasks for closet and cabinet part orders.
Create and send projects to manufacturing plant using a variety of software.
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and courteously
Schedule and create shipping tickets, labels and BOL's for Carriers & LTL shipping.
Provide basic bookkeeping support by managing paid invoices and filing.
Handle miscellaneous and clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, organizing office supplies and maintaining office cleanliness.

Qualifications

MUST have related office experience - woodworking/manufacturing/construction
Minimum of 1 Year proven experience in an office environment or administrative role.
Extreme attention to detail.
Excellent computer literacy and technical proficiency in office productivity tools.
Strong typing skills and attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks.
Professional phone etiquette and friendly demeanor.

Training on all software will be provided. Applicants with no office experience will not be considered.

If selected for employment, you will be connected with our temp agency and initially employed as a temporary employee, with the intent of permanent placement.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
