Gloss Boss Mobile Detailing is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Detailing Technician to join our growing team in Athens, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to grow within a fast-expanding mobile detailing operation.
This role goes beyond basic car washing. You will work directly alongside the owner, receive hands-on training, and have real opportunities for advancement as you develop your skills and contribute to the team.

Gloss Boss Mobile Detailing is a premium mobile auto detailing company serving Athens, and surrounding areas. We bring the detail to our clients — operating out of a fully equipped mobile setup and servicing customers six days per week. We are a small, high-performing team with a big vision: multiple vans, multiple crews, and a reputation as the best in the region.
Core Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled jobs
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Gloss Boss positively in the field
- Perform interior and exterior detailing services on customer vehicles
- Handle a wide range of vehicle conditions, including heavily soiled or restoration-level work
- Follow company procedures and quality standards on every job
- Communicate professionally with customers and the owner
- Keep tools, supplies, and the mobile setup organized and ready
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and service quality

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to Athens, OH
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to perform hands-on physical work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Prior detailing experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person
- Experience in hands-on or labor-based roles a plus
