Full Job Description

Saleslink is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to grow sales and strengthen customer relationships throughout the Ohio Valley territory.

This hands-on field sales role gives you the opportunity to represent established brands such as Toro, Delta Faucet, Whirlpool, and Newell Brands across the hardware, home improvement, appliance, and outdoor power equipment markets.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, solving customer problems, and identifying opportunities at the store and dealer level. This is not a desk-based management position. You will be responsible for actively managing the territory, developing accounts, and delivering measurable sales growth.

What You’ll Do

Manage and grow relationships with store owners, managers, associates, dealers, and other key customers
Develop new business while expanding sales within existing accounts
Visit customers regularly throughout the assigned territory
Present new products, programs, promotions, and sales opportunities
Conduct product training and in-store demonstrations
Identify competitive activity, market trends, and opportunities for growth
Develop and execute territory sales plans
Track customer activity, opportunities, and results in Salesforce
Represent Saleslink and its manufacturing partners at trade shows, dealer events, and customer meetings
Work directly with internal teams and manufacturer partners to resolve issues and support customers

What We’re Looking For

Proven outside sales, territory management, account management, or business development experience
A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to independently manage a large geographic territory
Comfortable prospecting, opening new accounts, and asking for the business
Organized and disciplined with follow-up, scheduling, reporting, and territory planning
Comfortable using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
Willing and able to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Experience That Would Be Especially Valuable

Hardware, home improvement, building products, outdoor power equipment, appliance, or consumer products experience
Experience calling on independent dealers, retailers, distributors, or home improvement accounts
Existing relationships within the Ohio hardware or dealer market
Experience conducting product training or demonstrations

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $65,000–$75,000

Our Regional Sales Managers work directly with customers in their territories and are given the responsibility, resources, and support needed to produce results.

This position is a strong fit for an experienced field salesperson who wants ownership of a territory, established product lines, direct access to decision-makers, and the opportunity to make a visible impact.

Candidates should live in or near the Cleveland, Ohio metropolitan area and be comfortable traveling throughout the assigned territory.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
