Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a part-time friendly, dependable, and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing front desk operations, assisting guests throughout their stay, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-kept hotel environment.

This is a hands-on hospitality position. Team members are expected to assist with the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and help ensure our property is maintained to a high standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
Answer incoming phone calls, assist with reservations, and respond to guest questions and requests.
Process payments, authorizations, deposits, and other guest transactions accurately.
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and communicate issues to management when necessary.
Maintain accurate guest information, reservations, reports, and front desk records.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding room status, guest requests, maintenance concerns, and other hotel needs.
Monitor the lobby, front desk, and common areas to ensure they remain clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming throughout the shift.
Perform cleaning duties as part of regular Front Desk responsibilities, including cleaning and maintaining the front desk area, lobby, public restrooms, elevators, entrance areas, coffee area, fitness center, and other assigned common areas as needed.
Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. Cleaning responsibilities are a regular and expected part of this position.
Pick up trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe down surfaces, restock supplies, and complete other assigned cleaning tasks as needed.
Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, safety hazards, or areas requiring attention.
Assist with light property upkeep and other tasks necessary to maintain a safe, clean, and guest-ready hotel.
Complete assigned shift checklists and required front desk duties.
Work cooperatively with other departments and assist team members when needed.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management based on the operational needs of the hotel.

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Friendly, professional, and dependable.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel property-management systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and calmly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to perform cleaning and general hotel upkeep duties as part of the position.
Ability to remain productive during slower periods by completing assigned cleaning, organizational, and property-maintenance tasks.
Previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
