Job Summary
Custom Home Painting by Billy Chapman is seeking 4 experienced painters to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential painting, remodels, and custom home projects. We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in producing quality workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, masking, and priming.
- Paint interior and exterior residential properties using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.
- Perform drywall repairs, texture matching, wood staining, cabinet painting, and trim finishing.
- Apply paints, stains, sealers, primers, epoxies, and specialty coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
- Protect customer property by properly covering floors, furniture, fixtures, and landscaping.
- Read work orders and follow project specifications to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout each project.
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and painting equipment.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, supervisors, and team members.
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional residential painting experience.
- Experience with interior and exterior painting.
- Skilled in surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Experience operating airless sprayers and conventional painting equipment.
- Drywall repair and minor carpentry experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders and scaffolding.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well with a team.

Compensation & Evaluation

All new hires will complete a 3–4 week evaluation period to demonstrate their workmanship, reliability, productivity, and professionalism. During this time, we'll evaluate your painting skills, attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to work efficiently with our team.
