Spinal cord injuries (including ventilators and trach care)
Traumatic brain injuries
Strokes and other neurological disorders
Burns and wound management

Job Description

Required Knowledge of:
Knowledge of Plan of Care for assigned clients; Accord Services External Handbook policies and procedures; telephone etiquette

Required Skills:
Problem solving; communication skills; team player; interpersonal skills; good collaboration skills; customer service skills

Required Abilities:
Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times; ability to remain within professional boundaries; ability to recognize emergency situations; demonstrate a sense of urgency; ability to always arrive on time to assignments; clearly understand assignments and patient location; understand and follow clinical and staffing instructions; understand and demonstrate the Accord Values: Accountability, Passion, Integrity, Excellence, and Teamwork; demonstrate ability working with a diverse population; successfully pass a background and drug screen

Qualifications

Education
High School diploma/ GED; Certificate from an accredited training program; Listed on the State Registry or successfully obtain a passing score on a test issued by the National League of Nursing for nursing assistants

Work Experience
Healthcare experience preferred

Licensing and/or Certification
CPR certification; Current TB/Chest X-ray; Current Georgia Driver's License/ State ID

Accord Services will provide training for new hires with limited healthcare related experience.
