Full Job Description

Overview
The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of D12. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Accounting & Finance, you'll help ensure our financial records remain accurate while supporting nearly every area of accounting. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable

· Process vendor invoices.

· Prepare monthly pay applications.

· Manage customer and subcontractor lien waivers.

· Support collections and vendor payments.

Tracking & Reconciliation

· Track and reconcile subcontractor payments, vendor payments, customer billings, and change orders.

· Maintain balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.

· Monitor multi-state sales and use tax reporting.

Journal Entries

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries.

· Assist with month-end and year-end close.

External Audit

· Assist with annual audit preparation.

· Resolve audit findings and account discrepancies.

Ad Hoc Projects

· Prepare executive financial summaries.

· Support logistics and other financial analysis.

· Assist with foreign state qualifications.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· 2–5 years of accounting experience

· NetSuite or similar ERP experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail and communication skills

· Construction accounting experience is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
