Full Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Management and growth responsibility for company marketing and sales for assigned Territory. Must maintain professional, safe, clean, organized work environment. Must work directly with company Management and Production team to ensure sales effectiveness and efficiency generate a profit in accordance with company financial goals, sales terms and conditions, and production capabilities. Work with Accounting to ensure proper and timely invoicing and collections.

Position includes, but is not limited to, the following work tasks -

Sales Management and Planning – achieve assigned sales figures and goals for company; identify and develop work plans for targeted customers; create sales forecasts and customer scheduling; work with Production team to prioritize project load and lead times; prioritize targets projects/customers and help establish proper timeframes for sales execution.

Pricing Controls and Estimating – maintain proper product prices and company margins; know competitor pricing; know product and materials costs; work with Production team to be efficient and profitable with products and materials; establish and keep updated competitive and profitable pricing strategies; manage customer discounts and schedules; be able to assist salespersons with project estimating, proposal generation

Marketing – create market presence and marketing materials through various channels (digital, print, social media, samples); coordinate territory trade shows, marketing/sales events and customer interactions; understand competitor positions; create and cultivate the company brand/image/name strategies and action items.

Forecasting – collect, organize, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and annual sales opportunities information; create, maintain, and present sales forecasts; help establish proper sales budgets as necessary.

Customer Management and Conflict Resolution – maintain proper sales documents, protocols, and reports to ensure clear communication with customers to include product descriptions, pricing, quality/delivery/payment terms and conditions; establish and manage proper customer expectations; working with Management to enforce conflict/claim resolution procedures, communications, and documentation.

Essential Skills –

Hard Skills: technical education and experience relevant to the product; managerial experience and skill with data collection, analysis, reporting, organization; problem-solving; prioritization; scheduling, budgeting, estimating, cost controls; intimate knowledge of market conditions, competitors, product pricing; attention to detail.

Soft Skills: communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, presentation, reporting) with all aspects of company business (customers, sales, managerial, production) in all methods (phone, email, in-person, published reports); able to work and foster teamwork environment with customers and resolve both technical and budget issues; inspire and lead others through solid decision-making; dependable positive attitude; demonstrated sales knowledge and success; delegation of tasks and responsibilities.

Salaried professional position, $70K base with commission expected to double income, auto allowance, office equipment, home office support.
