Full Job Description

Our client in the Keene, NH area is looking for a Controller to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Controller position are as follows:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
CPA or MBA or equivalent experience ideal but not required
7-10+ years recent accounting experience
Experience within non-profit settings a plus
Solid general ledger/system skills required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and accounting, payroll, & HR software applications
Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership skills required
Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of internal controls/procedures
Technical skills related to financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory issues
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage time and work effectively while multitasking with multiple priorities
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work hours as need to meet organizational needs

Benefits you will receive as the Controller:

Direct hire position
Full time hours Monday – Friday
$90-$100k/year based on skills and experience

As the Controller your duties will include:

Analyze financial reports/forecasts and recommend actions
Supervise accounting team
Evaluate forecasts/trends
Manage tax planning/compliance, reporting and audits
Develop budget/forecast and collaborate with others for the annual budget process
Oversee monthly close activities and statement preparation
Analysis/planning/modeling
Budget/track capital expenses
Prepare timely and accurate reports/presentations
Cash management
Maintain banking relationships
Develop/maintain internal controls
Review/track/monitor contracts
Special projects as needed
