Full Job Description

Overview: We seek highly energetic and driven Nursing Instructors to join our team. As a Nursing Instructor, you will report to the Nursing Program Dean and play a crucial role in shaping the future of nursing professionals. You will prepare students for the NCLEX examination, provide quality patient care, and foster career advancement.

Responsibilities:

Create a conducive learning environment tailored to students' needs.
Promote and motivate students in theory, lab, and clinical practice.
Employ instructional methods and materials suitable for course and program outcomes.
Engage students of all learning types in an active learning environment.
Assess student achievements through quizzes, exams, and evaluations.
Identify students' learning strengths and weaknesses, providing necessary remediation.
Assist in implementing student life and conduct policies.
Report sentinel events to the Nursing Program Dean promptly.
Develop and enforce reasonable classroom, lab, and clinical behavior rules.
Participate in curriculum planning, teaching schedules, and course outline evaluations.
Maintain nursing competence and professional expertise through clinical experience, workshops, and continuing education.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Active Georgia RN License
Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience in a professional nursing program
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Clinical background in Med/Surg or ICU/Stepdown or related specialties

Preferred:

Experience teaching Medical Surgical didactic content
LMS Experience (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)

Reports to: Nursing Program Dean

Program: Professional Nursing Program (ASN)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
