Full Job Description

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Financial Advisor who is interested in leading a highly respected advocacy and referral company expand into financial advisory services and to help build and grow this new offering from the ground up. You will serve as a primary point of contact for individual clients, providing comprehensive financial planning, investment guidance, and ongoing relationship management. This role is ideal for a seasoned advisor from a small practice who is excited by an entrepreneurial opportunity to help design processes, shape client experience, and grow a book of business.

Compensation And Benefits:

Base Salary Starting At $70,000 - $100,000 base salary
Phone Reimbursement - $50-$100 month

Your Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth discovery of clients’ financial situations, goals, time horizons, and risk tolerance, then develop and present personalized financial plans.
Provide recommendations on retirement planning, investments, insurance, budgeting, and other personal finance needs, clearly explaining risks and benefits.
Implement agreed-upon strategies, including coordinating investments and financial products consistent with a fiduciary standard and client best interests.
Monitor client portfolios and financial plans, proactively recommend adjustments based on market conditions and life changes.
Maintain regular, transparent communication with clients to build trust and long-term relationships, including periodic reviews and check-ins.
Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to attract and convert new clients from current audience base, including webinars, content, and events.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and firm policies, including proper documentation, disclosures, and recordkeeping.
Host both in-office (Atlanta, GA) and virtual client meetings as needed.
Attend occasional evening or weekend client meetings or events as needed.

Qualifications We Require:

7+ years of successful experience as a financial advisor, financial planner, or similar role in a small or independent practice setting.
Proven track record of building and retaining a client base and meeting revenue or asset-growth targets.
Active licenses as required for the products and services offered (for example Series 65/66 and applicable state registrations), or ability to obtain promptly.
CFP, ChFC, or similar professional designation, or a clear plan and progress toward one. (Preferred)
Familiarity with financial planning and CRM software tools.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of personal financial planning, retirement strategies, investments, and risk management/insurance.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
High ethical standards and a client-first mindset; fiduciary orientation strongly preferred.
