Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Med Tech / CNA / PCA, where your compassion and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Whether working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings, you will be at the forefront of promoting health, comfort, and dignity for those you serve. Duties

Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and well-being
Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately
Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining meticulous medical documentation
Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care through compassionate engagement and tailored care plans
Perform basic medical procedures including catheter care, tube feeding assistance, and wound care in compliance with state healthcare regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards
Document all patient interactions and medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner for seamless communication among healthcare providers
Ensure safety during manual handling tasks and heavy lifting by adhering to proper techniques and safety guidelines

Skills

Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care environments is highly valued
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and geriatric patient needs to deliver competent care
Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation
Certification in CPR and First Aid to respond effectively during emergencies
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and medication management systems
Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges with patience and understanding
Excellent communication skills for caregiver interactions and resident engagement while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
