Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated English Copy Editor to help review and improve written content so that it is clear, easy to understand, and free from basic spelling and grammar mistakes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with words and wants to develop professional skills in a supportive environment.

No previous experience is required. Full training and guidance will be provided, so you can learn the role step by step. We welcome applicants who are new to the workforce, changing careers, returning to work, or simply looking for an opportunity to build their skills.

The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable paying attention to details. If you are motivated and take pride in producing clear, well-presented work, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

Review written content for basic spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typing mistakes.
Check that sentences are clear, easy to read, and consistent.
Make simple corrections while keeping the original meaning of the content.
Read documents carefully and identify areas that may need improvement.
Follow straightforward editing guidelines and instructions provided by the team.
Check completed work to make sure corrections have been made accurately.
Communicate with team members when something is unclear or requires clarification.
Organize assigned work and complete tasks within agreed deadlines.
Keep track of completed assignments and report any difficulties or questions.
Participate in training and use feedback to improve editing skills.
Carry out other simple, related tasks as needed.

Skills

Good written and spoken English.
Basic attention to detail and willingness to check work carefully.
Reliable and punctual approach to work.
Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
Ability to follow simple instructions and established guidelines.
Good communication and a respectful attitude toward colleagues.

No professional editing experience required — all necessary training will be provided.

Pay: $26.11 - $31.45 per hour
