Restaurant General Manager / Managing Partner Track

DaBomb Sports Grill & The Morning Pour
Stonecrest / Lithonia, GA

About DaBomb Sports Grill

DaBomb Sports Grill has been a staple in the Lithonia / Stonecrest community for over 20 years. Originally founded in downtown Atlanta in 1998, DaBomb has evolved into a high-volume sports bar and grill known for late-night traffic, entertainment, and strong community ties.

We are now entering our next phase of growth, expanding into daytime, early evening, and breakfast service through the launch of The Morning Pour, a breakfast-focused concept operating out of the same facility.

We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager / Managing Partner-in-Training to help lead this expansion and grow into a long-term profit-sharing leadership role.

Who This Role Is For

This is not a traditional GM job.

This role is designed for a self-driven operator who:

Understands both FOH and BOH operations
Has experience with breakfast / brunch concepts
Is comfortable with early mornings and long days
Thinks like an owner, not a clock-puncher
Wants to build, scale, and share in profits

The Opportunity

This position begins as a hands-on General Manager-in-Training and is designed to transition into a General Manager / Managing Partner role based on performance.

You will play a key role in:

Improving overall profitability and execution
Expanding daytime and early-evening sales
Launching and scaling The Morning Pour (breakfast concept)
Building systems, SOPs, and leadership structure
Preparing the business for future expansion and franchising

These initiatives have the potential to significantly increase weekly sales and net profit, and the right candidate will share directly in that upside.

Compensation & UpsidePhase 1: GM-in-Training / Breakfast Lead (Build Phase)

$600 per week base salary
Immediate 5% profit participation from The Morning Pour (breakfast only)
Focused on launch, systems, staffing, and execution

Phase 2: General Manager / Managing Partner

Base salary increases to $800–$1,000 per week

(≈ $41,600–$52,000 annually)

Continued profit sharing
Expanded authority and decision-making

Strong operators can earn more in profit participation than base salary over time.Additional Income Opportunities

Work Schedule & Structure

6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Breakfast service (The Morning Pour): 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2:00–5:00 PM focus includes:
Bar and night-club readiness
Hiring and interviews
Inventory, ordering, and prep
Systems, training, and admin
6 days per week
Long-term goal: only open 3 days per week
Hire and train a key-holding breakfast cook
Build a strong morning team so GM is not required to open daily

Sweat Equity Requirement (Important)

This role requires sweat equity during the first 6 months.

This is a build phase, not a clock-in/clock-out job
You will be expected to:
Take initiative
Solve problems independently
Lead without micromanagement
Higher pay, profit sharing, and authority are earned through execution

Key ResponsibilitiesMorning Pour (Primary Focus – Build & Scale)

Lead rollout and daily execution of breakfast operations
Hire, train, and manage morning staff
Develop prep flow, recipes, and consistency
Control food cost, labor, and waste
Drive breakfast profitability and scalability

DaBomb Sports Grill (Secondary Focus)

Lead day-to-day FOH and BOH operations
Improve guest experience and service standards
Manage scheduling and labor efficiency
Oversee inventory using Just-In-Time (JIT) principles
Prepare the venue for evening and late-night operations

Financial & Operational Targets

Target Prime Cost: ~60%
Labor ≈ 32%
Cost of Goods ≈ 28%
Maintain clean, organized, inspection-ready facility
Build systems that reduce owner dependency
