Full Job Description

DayStar Global Solutions is a 100% employee owned company. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, financial reporting to the executive staff and CPA, and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in relevant software applications.

*Duties* - Enter data accurately into accounting systems and maintain organized records. - Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities as required. - Utilize software such as QuickBooks for various accounting functions. - Provide support for technical accounting inquiries and issues as they arise. - Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department. Provide financial statements and reports to CPA and other agencies as requested.

*Skills* - Strong mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. - Proficiency in data analysis, entry, and management of financial information. - Previous experience using accounting software such as UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Paychex, or QuickBooks is advantageous. - Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn technical accounting practices quickly. Prior experience in the transportation industry is a plus. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Senior Staff Accountant who is ready to contribute to our team's success.
