About the Role

As a CNC Machinist and Programmer, you will drive production excellence by translating complex engineering blueprints into high-precision components. You will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing workflows, ensuring that every part meets rigorous quality standards through expert programming and efficient machine operation.

Responsibilities

Develop, store, and refine CNC programs to maximize production efficiency and part accuracy.
Execute complete machine setups, including tool selection and fixture alignment, to ensure seamless production runs.
Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications to plan machining sequences and estimate cycle times.
Perform rigorous in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to guarantee dimensional conformity.
Conduct proactive equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Manage tooling inventory and communicate material requirements to maintain a steady workflow.
Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all operational protocols and shop floor regulations.

Required Skills

Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software applications.
Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances.
Hands-on experience with CNC mill setup, operation, and offset adjustments.
Competence in using precision measurement instruments like micrometers and calipers.
Solid understanding of shop mathematics, including algebra and geometry.

Preferred Skills

Experience operating horizontal milling centers.
Familiarity with Mazak control systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex machining errors.
Background in high-precision manufacturing or hydraulic component fabrication.
