About Us

The Music Studio Atlanta is a multi-award-winning, family-friendly private music studio dedicated to helping students of all ages build confidence, creativity, and joy through music. With vibrant studios in Vinings, East Cobb, and Johns Creek, we offer private lessons, group classes, and inspiring performance opportunities in a positive, community-driven environment.

We are seeking a Front Desk Manager, who lives near or close to our Johns Creek location to join and support our daily front desk operations team and ensure an exceptional experience for our students, families, and teachers across all studio locations.

About the Role

The Front Desk Manager is the welcoming face of our studios and plays a key role in keeping each location running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and enjoys balancing customer service, organization, and operational ownership.

While this role does not involve direct people management, it does require strong decision-making, accountability, and confidence in handling day-to-day studio operations.

A music background is not required, though a love of music and experience in arts, education, or service-based environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the face and voice of the studio by greeting students, parents, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
Conduct new student orientations to ensure strong first impressions
Manage daily communications, including phone calls, emails, and text messages
Coordinate lesson schedules between families and faculty
Maintain accurate student schedules, CRM records, and internal trackers
Support studio events such as recitals and open mics through coordination and assistance
Execute opening and closing procedures using studio checklists
Keep the studio tidy, organized, stocked, and visually welcoming throughout each shift
Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions

Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in customer service, retail management, hospitality, or administrative support
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities in a busy environment
Detail-oriented with consistent follow-through
Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
Collaborative team player with a service-first mindset
Comfortable using computers, online scheduling systems, and communication platforms
Tech confident: familiar with Google Drive, Gmail, Apple devices, and learning new systems quickly
Ability to work at any of our studio locations (mainly Johns Creek) as needed on a weekly basis

Schedule

Full-time: 32–35 hours per week
Weekday afternoon through evening shifts
Weekend availability as needed

Compensation & Benefits

$25/hour to start, increasing to $27/hour after a successful 90-day review
Holiday and sick pay
