Eighti Republic is a music production, artist development, and sync licensing company focused on creating commercially viable music for television, film, advertising, gaming, and digital media.

Our mission is to build a collaborative creative ecosystem that develops producers, songwriters, artists, and music industry professionals while creating opportunities for commercial placements and long-term career growth.

Position Overview

The A&R Associate serves as a talent development and recruitment representative for Eighti Republic’s creative division.

This role is responsible for identifying emerging producers, songwriters, and artists, assisting with recruitment efforts, supporting talent development initiatives, and helping maintain a high-quality creative ecosystem.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in A&R, artist development, talent scouting, music business, and sync licensing.

Responsibilities

Talent Recruitment

Identify and recruit producers, songwriters, and artists.
Conduct outreach through social media, music platforms, and industry networks.
Assist with candidate screening and evaluation.
Schedule interviews and onboarding sessions.

Talent Development

Evaluate creative submissions.
Provide feedback regarding quality and commercial viability.
Identify strengths and development opportunities.
Help match creatives with appropriate collaborative opportunities.

Creative Administration

Maintain organized talent records and databases.
Track candidate progress through the recruitment process.
Assist with onboarding documentation and orientation preparation.
Support catalog organization and creative project management.

Sync & Catalog Support

Assist with sourcing music for sync opportunities.
Review producer submissions for quality and organization.
Help maintain catalog readiness and metadata accuracy.

Collaboration

Work closely with:
Director of Sync
Label Operations Team
Participate in leadership and development meetings.
Assist with Eighti Campus initiatives and events.

Qualifications

Preferred

Interest in music business, A&R, artist development, or talent management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Pop, and emerging music trends.
Ability to evaluate creative talent and musical potential.
Organized and detail-oriented.

Bonus Qualifications

Previous recruiting, talent scouting, management, or music industry experience.
Familiarity with sync licensing and music publishing.
