Full Job Description

Our client is a growing aerospace manufacturer specializing in advanced turbojet engine technology for next-generation defense and aerospace applications. As we continue to expand our manufacturing and supply chain operations, we're seeking talented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to make a meaningful impact.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to manage the procurement of direct and indirect materials supporting turbojet engine manufacturing. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of components, managing supplier relationships, and partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Planning to support production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchase orders for direct and indirect materials.
Monitor supplier performance and expedite orders to meet production schedules.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
Coordinate procurement activities with cross-functional teams.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant procurement experience.
5+ years of purchasing experience in aerospace, turbine/engine manufacturing, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP systems and supplier management.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal contract requirements.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
