Construction Project Manager – Utility Water & Sewer

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (In Person)
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

About Us

Site Engineering, Inc. has provided underground utility construction services throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area since 1983. Our projects include water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, stormwater retention, parks, stream restoration, grading, and related municipal infrastructure improvements.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee municipal underground utility projects from bid through closeout. This role combines office-based project management with field oversight to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Office Responsibilities (approximately 70%)

Contract administration
Estimating and bidding support
Scheduling and planning
Submittal and procurement management
Purchasing and vendor coordination
Client and owner meetings
Pay applications and cost control
Project documentation and closeout

Field Responsibilities (approximately 30%)

Quality control inspections
Survey and layout coordination
Coordination with field crews, inspectors, and owners
Monitoring project progress and resolving issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Prefer Engineering or Construction Management

2+ years of construction project management experience
Experience managing utility construction projects
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite, Digital takeoff software, survey, GIS software, Project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with municipal water, sewer, storm drainage, grading, and roadway projects
Underground utility construction experience
Experience managing multiple crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
Strong cost tracking and job cost accounting skills
