Office Coordinator – ABA Clinic & Operations Support
Location: Somers Point, NJ
Schedule Type: Full-Time
Starting Payrate: $20 hourly
We’re Looking for the Person Who Keeps Everything Running
Interactive Kids is looking for an Office Coordinator for our Somers Point clinic and office location — someone who can walk into a busy environment, observe what’s happening, figure out what needs attention, and simply handle it.
This role is part operations support, part organization wizard, part problem solver, and part “go-to person” for the clinic.
We’re looking for someone who:
- thrives when multitasking,
- notices the details others miss,
- is comfortable in the uncomfortable,
- can follow systems and help improve them,
- and naturally becomes the person others rely on to keep things moving.
Honestly? The type of person who sees the toilet paper running low, the therapy room needing organization, the maintenance issue that needs a phone call, or the scheduling issue brewing — and takes care of it before it becomes a bigger problem.
What This Role Looks Like
This is a highly hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinic and office environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing office, clinic, and program supplies
- Ordering inventory and maintaining organization throughout the building
- Restocking therapy rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces
- Observing operational issues and proactively problem-solving
- Coordinating building-related needs and communicating with vendors or maintenance companies when necessary
- Supporting scheduling coordination and communication
- Assisting with administrative and operational tasks across departments
- Helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and functional clinic environment
- Supporting staff with day-to-day needs throughout the clinic
- Assisting with client communication, waitlists, paperwork, and office coordination
- Helping create and maintain systems that improve workflow and organization
No two days look exactly the same — and that’s part of what makes this role important.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal person for this role is:
- proactive and resourceful,
- highly organized,
- comfortable multitasking,
- approachable and professional,
- and able to balance structure with flexibility.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- walk into a busy environment and quickly assess what needs attention,
- problem solve independently,
- communicate confidently and professionally,
- and follow through without needing constant direction.
This role requires someone who is comfortable:
- handling operational issues as they arise,
- coordinating with vendors or building supports when needed,
- supporting staff while still maintaining professionalism and boundaries,
- and helping create systems that keep the clinic running smoothly.
Strong customer service and people skills are extremely important, as this person will interact regularly with staff, clients, and families.
Experience in:
- office coordination,
- healthcare,
- ABA,
- schools,
- behavioral health,
- clinic operations,
- or administrative support
is strongly preferred.
Having an understanding of ABA or experience working within behavioral or clinical environments is a huge plus.
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
This role is probably a great fit for someone who:
- likes staying busy,
- enjoys helping things run smoothly,
- notices what needs attention before being asked,
- and can stay calm and productive in fast-moving environments.
The strongest candidates are often people who are:
- naturally dependable,
- solutions-oriented,
- comfortable taking initiative,
- and able to build trust and positive relationships while still holding their own professionally.
