Position- Full time X- Ray Tech
Shift Times:7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Pay Range: $28 to $30.11 hourly + based of years of experience
Location: Salina, Kansas
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team in Salina, Kansas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while maintaining excellent patient care, safety, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other radiologic imaging equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Provide timely imaging support in emergency and urgent-care settings, including trauma situations.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical data.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, emergency department personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection-control and aseptic techniques as required.
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology, imaging technology, and radiation safety.
- Provide compassionate, professional communication throughout the patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
- Kansas Radiologic Technology License — Required.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- ARRT certification or graduate student eligible for the ARRT examination.
- BLS certification preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
- BLS/CPR may be obtained within the first 90 days of employment, as applicable.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to radiation safety and quality patient care are essential.
Experience with additional imaging modalities such as CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA, PET, nuclear medicine, or interventional radiology is a plus.
