Auburn's BEST After School and Summer Camp!
Now hiring motivated, positive, and energetic drivers for a vans and shuttles to pick up our afterschool kids from their respective schools and bring to our afterschool location in Auburn, Alabama. You will actively engage with children in a stimulating, fun, nurturing, and enriching afterschool program for the upcoming school year! Prior experience working with children is a must. Already living in the local area need only apply.
YOU are the first point of contact children see at the end of their school day to BEGIN their after school experience each day! A winning personality and experience working with children is a must.
This position possesses the potential to lead to one of our Awesome Coach positions along with further promotions and pay raises. This is an excellent entry level position potentially leading to promotions and raises within Auburn's Best Afterschool Program and Summer Camp!
Part time position 10 - 15 hours weekly: $13 - $15 hourly STARTING pay
Beginning salary within this range is flexible based on prior work and driving experience.
Monday - Friday: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

- P. E. type games and activities,
- arts and crafts,

- Must have a clean criminal background and pass a background screening
- Must be over the age of 25
- Must have experience working with children
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and have a positive attitude
- Must own a smartphone for communication purposes

- Do you have experience working with children?
- Do you have any sports experience? This could include sports you played in school or growing up as a child/teen.
- Are you willing to LEARN to drive a 15 passenger van? (We have several staff that we have taught to drive a 15 passenger van.) Are you willing to learn?
- The state of Alabama requires a back ground check on anyone working with children. Is there anything in your background that would prevent you from working with children?
- Are you 25 years of age or older?
- How many years have you been driving?
- Do you possess a CURRENT and valid Driver's License?
- Do you have a personal reliable vehicle? This means do you have a vehicle that can ensure you make it to work everyday? (We provide vans/shuttles for the afterschool program AND provide driving lessons!)
- Are you willing to help with basic vehicle maintenance (like ensuring tires are filled with air, gas is in the tank, van is clean, etc)?
- Do you have any driving tickets or at fault accidents?
