The Role
The Sales Team Member – Auburn/Opelika Area is responsible for leading the customer experience in our Auburn/Opelika-area communities. This position represents Holland Homes to potential buyers and ensures each client enjoys a transparent, professional, and enjoyable process from initial inquiry to closing.
Sales Team Members works closely with the Broker, Closing Coordinator, and Project Leaders to provide buyers with accurate information, timely updates, and a white-glove experience that reflects the Holland Homes standard.
This position is ideal for a licensed real estate professional who is self-motivated, people-oriented, and passionate about helping families find their next home.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for homebuyers, ensuring consistent and professional communication.
- Conduct model home and community tours with potential buyers.
- Provide detailed information on available homes, pricing, and community amenities.
- Guide buyers through every step of the purchase process with clarity and care.
Sales Execution
- Manage all aspects of the sales process from first contact through closing.
- Prepare and process purchase agreements, addendums, and change orders.
- Submit documentation to the Closing Coordinator for review and processing.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts and buyer communication in company systems.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with the Closing Coordinator, Project Leaders, and Broker to ensure alignment between sales, construction, and closing timelines.
- Communicate regularly with lenders, real estate agents, and buyers to maintain transparency and progress.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and company-wide events as needed.
Community Representation & Events
- Represent Holland Homes professionally at open houses, community events, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of model homes and community spaces.
- Provide feedback to leadership on buyer trends and competitive insights in the Birmingham market.

Qualifications
- Active Alabama Real Estate License (required)
- 2+ years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related customer service preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRMs
- Reliable transportation to and from Birmingham-area communities
