Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a combination of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans.
Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
Support clients in engaging in social activities and community involvement.
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for patient mobility.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities as needed.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience in caregiving roles, particularly in settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes. Preferred qualifications include:

First aid and CPR certification.
Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Familiarity with home health care practices and hospice care principles.
Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges. We welcome applicants who are passionate about caregiving and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
