Job Overview
Join the Fuji team that has been serving Auburn for 15 years as a Host/Cashier/To Go Specialist and become the welcoming face of our establishment! In this energetic role, you will create a positive first impression for guests by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the point of sale. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will help foster a warm, inviting environment where guests feel valued from the moment they arrive to when they leave satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for food service with your passion for guest relations, all while working in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience
Operate POS system for order processing and payments
Handle take-out orders with professionalism, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to-go orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, cashier station, and dining area
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating, orders, and guest needs
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries
Build to go orders correctly and keep an organized work area to ensure correct delivery of those orders

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
Experience operating POS systems is a plus
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including guest services and hospitality standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued
