Job Overview

Maine Wood Treaters is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics & Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of our pressure-treated lumber manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting accounting functions, coordinating transportation logistics, managing freight scheduling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication between sales, management, customers, drivers, and plant personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and computer skills, experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or higher degree in accounting or business, or a related field experience preferred.

· Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of experience in like administrative tasks, or a related field.

· Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard office software.

· Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of freight operations, transportation logistics, and customer service practices is preferred.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
