Full Job Description

Budtender – Brunswick, ME (Full Time)

Bring your enthusiasm and commitment to great customer service to our team! This is a rare opportunity to join us at this location and create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers every day.

This is a full-time position that averages 35-40 hours per week and requires availability for evenings, night, weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do:

Provide friendly, high-quality customer service that keeps people coming back
Assist customers in exploring strains, products and consumption methods with confidence
Stay up to date on products, trends, and Maine’s adult-use cannabis laws
Ensure compliance with age verification, product handling, and store policies
Accurately handle point of sale transactions and cash
Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
Assist with inventory labeling, organization and other standard operating procedures
Collaborate with your team to keep the store positive, fun, and welcoming

Who You Are:

At least 21 years old (per state law)
Flexible and reliable: able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather
Able to stand for 8-10+ hour shifts and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable and physically able to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
Able to obtain an Individual Identification Card (IIC) from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy. Fee is reimbursed by HIGHLY after 60-days of employment. More information about the IIC Card can be found here: https://www.maine.gov/dafs/ocp/adult-use/application-process/iic-instructions
