Full Job Description

Rowe Auburn, also known as Auburn Motor Sales, has been family-owned and operated since 1922. This success could not be achieved without a dedicated group of over 100 employees, many of whom have been with Rowe for over 20 years.

We are looking for a HR/PR Administrator to join our team! Rowe is a fast-paced organization that centers on integrity, family values, teamwork and most importantly, customer service.

Manage weekly payroll process ensuring timely and accurate compensations for employees, review timecards for accuracy, process adjustments, maintain and update employee data in payroll software, respond to employee inquiries, maintain time off balances, withholdings and wage garnishments, and process payroll entries.
Administer benefit program including enrollment, terminations, updates, responding to employee inquiries, open enrollment, and reconciling benefit accounts to ensure accuracy in deductions and billing.
Hiring and recruitment including writing job descriptions, post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, extend job offers, manage onboarding for new hires, and process all new hire and terminations.
Yearly compliance reporting including EEOC filing, OSHA 300, Empower form 5500, ACA form 1094 and 1095C, Cafeteria Plan testing.
Responding to managers/employee inquiries and assisting with employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Communicates with employment attorney with any issues that may require legal assistance or advice
Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Training compliance
Administer, track, and manage MPFL leave of absence, process and manage workers compensation claims and Short and Long-term disability, and manage unemployment claims ensuring compliance with company policy and State and Federal regulations
Qualificatins
Proven experience as a Payroll/HR Administrator or similar role
In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
