Full Job Description

Fast paced ophthalmology practice looking to add a self motivated, autonomous, and professional individual to our growing team.

Responsibilities

Scribe for the Doctor by documenting exam in the EHR
Perform diagnostic testing
Scheduling appointments and referrals when necessary
Maintain confidentiality with all patient information according to HIPAA laws

Minimum Education and Experience

Certification/past ophthalmology experience and past EHR experience is strongly preferred.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and general medical knowledge
Excellent listening and note-taking skills
Computer skills, including use of EHR and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills, including grammatical, spelling, and verbal
Detail-oriented with proven ability to work effectively working under conditions requiring accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Capable of working well on a team
Customer service oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Anticipated FULL TIME Schedule:

Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Tuesday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday as needed 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
No weekends

If interested in PART TIME, Monday would alternate half days 8:00 am - 12:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Work Remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
