Employment Type: Full time position. Hours are Monday-Friday between 6 am- 1 pm, with a flexible start and end time depending on client needs. Our staff also work a rotating Saturday morning schedule (half shift).

We specialize in 1:1 personal training, small group fitness classes, and nutrition coaching. All sessions and classes are conducted in fully equipped training suites, ensuring there is no waiting for equipment, no distractions, and all the focus is on the client. Our clients, primarily aged between 40-75, seek to learn how to exercise effectively and lead a healthy lifestyle. Each client's program is custom designed to meet their unique needs and limitations. We aim to deliver a red-carpet experience, utilizing state-of-the-art tools like our state of the art 3D body scanner to set goals and track progress, complemented by a wide range of free amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design safe and effective fitness programs tailored to the individual needs and goals of each client.
- Adapt programs for clients who travel or participate virtually.
- Educate and motivate clients to stay committed to their fitness plans.
- Conduct both personal training sessions and small group classes.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
- Create unique and memorable experiences that foster long-term client relationships.
- Interact with clients and team members with empathy and without judgment.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration while working independently.
- Ensure the studio is clean and accident-free.
- Show patience, determination, and genuine care to help clients reach their goals.

Day-to-Day Task Break Down as a Personal Trainer
- Personal training – 85%
- Small Group Classes – 5%
- Administrative work/Designing fitness programs – 5%
- Communicating with clients, staff, and management – 3%
- Professional Development – 2%
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of personal training and program design experience. Professional or personal experience qualifies.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Reliable and able to consistently meet client and team commitments.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with the rest of the team.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in addressing client needs and issues.
- Able to be on your feet for several hours at a time and able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field will be strongly considered.
- National Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, etc.)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
- Extensive understanding of injury prevention and management.
- Experience and success working with middle-aged to older populations with mobility issues or limitations.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to each client’s individual needs.
- Emotional stamina to be “at your best” with each client.
- Ability to motivate and coach clients to ensure their continuous commitment.
Wishlist
While not required, having experience in any of the following topics would be a perk and may qualify for additional compensation.
Pilates – certification and experience in hosting classes
Yoga – certification and experience in hosting classes
Social Media – Marketing or influencer style content production. Especially on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Program design – bonus points for designing fitness programs for seniors or to work around specific mobility issues or limitations
Specialties, certifications, or interest in niche areas of fitness (barbell, TRX, power-lifting, stretching etc.)
