We are seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our Production/Supply Chain and Warehouse team.
Position Summary
The Material Handler / Receiver is responsible for the movement, receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production lines receive the materials they need while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting shipping and receiving operations.
Key Objectives
- Safely receive, store, and handle raw materials and finished goods
- Support uninterrupted production through timely material delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse organization
- Ensure all materials are properly identified, labeled, and tracked
- Support efficient warehouse and logistics operations
What You'll DoReceiving & Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials according to company procedures
- Verify shipments and ensure materials are accurately recorded in the ERP/SAP system
- Process incoming deliveries and allocate materials to the correct storage locations
- Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices
- Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies immediately
Material Handling & Production Support
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Deliver raw materials to production areas as needed
- Transport finished goods to shipping and warehouse locations
- Execute stock transfers, returns, and inventory movements
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Inventory & Logistics
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability
- Support accurate warehouse transactions and documentation
- Monitor and maintain load carriers and related warehouse supplies
- Work closely with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to support customer requirements
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, material handling, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic; HONEST
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
Preferred
- Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or warehouse software
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, logistics, or textile manufacturing environments
- Inventory control and shipping/receiving experience
