Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across our commercial and residential spaces. Your energetic approach and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety, creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
Handle various chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures
Operate cleaning machinery including vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment to ensure optimal cleanliness
Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting as needed to support facility upkeep
Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, especially when handling heavy lifting or hazardous materials
Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation
Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety protocol guidelines
Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning techniques
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach toward maintaining cleanliness standards
Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork
Prior experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required
