Full Job Description

We are a premier family law firm located in downtown San Francisco seeking a full-time family law associate with at least 5 years of FAMILY LAW experience to join our team. In this position, you will work directly with and under the supervision of a partner at the firm, handling a heavy caseload from initial filing of the Petition through entry of judgment.

Responsibilities will include:

· Conducting legal research (we use Westlaw and Attorneys’ Briefcase) and drafting memorandum and legal briefs;

· Propounding and responding to discovery;

· Drafting written correspondence;

· Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and judicial officers;

· Trial prep; and

· General case management.

Must have exceptional legal research and writing skills, excellent written and oral communications skills, as well as an acute attention to detail and organizational skills. Solid experience practicing in the family law field is a must.

We are located within two blocks of the Embarcadero BART station with easy access to many MUNI lines and other public transportation. However, this position is primarily remote and does not require you to work from our main office.

Salary commensurate with experience.
